August 31, 2015: Meow or Never

Hello Family and Friends!

Its been another great week in the Hoof! I love to see really how much the Lord is merciful to us and how he helps us even though we are so weak in this work.

A few days ago we got to meet with our friend, Ru, from Zimbabwe. She is the sweetest thing ever! We taught her the Restoration before so we thought we would just do a little review and we got into the Priesthood more and she asked more about were it is in the Bible. Yay for for the Spirit and we were able to read a couple scriptures that answered her questions. She is super busy so hopefully she will make the time to Read the Book of Mormon this week. That is how we can truly know if the message of the Restoration is true. :) Its amazing to see how open she is to everything because right now she attends one of the most Anti-Mormon churches in town! We are going to have dinner with her at the Arnold's house this week so that will be fun. :)

We got to go to Prince George for a Zone Meeting. It was so good and me and Sister Collier got the opportunity there to go out finding people to teach and it was so refreshing to talk to lots of people on the streets and share our testimonies. One evening I was with one of our sister training leaders and we had a few minutes before we had to go home for the night so we went around the mall parking lot to see if there was anyone we could talk to. Well, we didn't really see anyone and wasn't sure where to go so we stopped and said a little prayer. We both felt compelled to keep moving forward and we were able to talk to this really nice couple and we had a really good chat with them. Then declined meeting up later... But as were were walking back to our car there was a 18 year old girl walking in the parking lot and we talked to her and she was super interested in learning more and she even said, "I actually want to be baptized again. Its been awhile." Holy cow, did the Lord direct us. Right after we talked to her, the couple drove by us and stopped us and thanked us for the chat and gave a a gift card to Starbucks! It was awesome!

I have almost been in Vanderhoof for 6 months! It's crazy to see how time flies. I came up here a young missionary and now I am getting to be an old missionary! I am so grateful for how a loving Father in Heaven has been so merciful to me. He knows us much more than we are aware. Thanks you all for your love, support, and prayers. I love you all.

Love,
Sister Lofthouse
