Its been another great week in the Hoof! Really, I love it up here :) We got to move into the other side of the cabin which is a lot nicer so now we don't have to do dishes in the tub so that's really nice. :) We are moving up in life!
This week we got to meet with one of our investigator's named Betty. We finally were able to have a good solid lesson with her. We taught the Plan of Salvation and she really like it! It was pretty funny/awkward because she wondered how her body would be at the resurrection because of the work she has gotten done... Betty has been to church once but she doesn't really like the bishop and thinks the music is boring. She used to play the guitar for another Christian church in town. But she has a solid belief in Jesus Christ so we are trying to help her get over those things!
We also had a great lesson with a part member family that lives about 40 minutes out of town. The wife was baptized 8 years ago and the husband comes to church every week and has a calling in the ward but still hasn't gotten baptized! He has been progressing more since I have been here and is super close! He just has some doubts and some family traditions that is holding him back. But he hasn't prayed yet about the Book of Mormon so he committed to do that!
We are having Zone Conference this week in Vanderhoof so the Mission President is coming up here! Its also Canada Day on July 1st so I hope you all get to celebrate. Canada is great and so beautiful. It will always be a special place to me. Things are going well and I am just so thankful for all the blessings and tender mercies I see from the Lord everyday. The Lord has been blessing our area so much! Thank you all for your love, support, and prayers! Keep praying for the people of Vanderhoof! :)
