October 19, 2015: Bye Bye Vanderhoof. Hello Abby YSA!!!

Hello Family and Friends!

Its been another great week in Vanderhoof. It actually has been my last week in Vanderhoof!! Saturday night we were waiting and waiting for our transfer calls... At 10:20pm I came to accept that I would be spending half my mission up here in Vanderhoof. Then we got a call from President Burt with our transfer news. I'm going to be moving to Abbotsford YSA! That's back down in the lower main land. I will also be serving as a Sister Training Leader. Im excited but terrified! The Lord loves to put us outside our comfort zones. But it is where we grow. :)

This week has been pretty slow as for teaching lessons... But Barbie is still doing great. She came to church again yesterday and loved it like always! A member even offered her a job so she was pretty excited. :) She is so spiritual and sweet. We are going to be meeting up with her again tonight so I can teach her one last lesson. :)

Our recent convert Amanda, has made good friends with a YSA member over in Burns Lake. (about 2 hours from Vanderhoof) Her name is Katelyn and she is a return missionary. There are only Elders in Burns Lake so she wanted to come over and go on splits with us so on Saturday, Amanda and Katelyn drove us to Fort St James and we tracted hard core! I went with Amanda and we got a few cool potentials for Sister Collier and her new companion to work with. Having members out working with us makes it all the more fun! :)

I will miss my Vanderhoof family... :( They have helped me out so much. Vanderhoof will always have a special place in my heart. Now looking back at when I first came up here, I have grown so much. :) I will never forget the beauty of Northern BC as well. It's as beautiful and the people. :) I want to be like the members up here. So many of them serve faithfully in there church calling and to helping those in need. :)

I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for me in Abbotsford. Please keep me in your prayers. Please pray that we will find those who are waiting for us in down there. :) Thank you so much for your love and support. I love you all.

Love,
Sister Lofthouse
